Photoshop book

Thu Jun 28, 2007, 12:01 AM
I recently bought a photoshop cs2 guide, and I have been trying stuff from the book on my photos, as you could probably see..

its a really good book, with step by step demonstrations, btw...

  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: Dangerous - Michael Jackson
  • Watching: Heaven can wait (1978 movie)
  • Playing: JS Bach's 9th invention (on the piano)
  • Drinking: a lot (summertime...)

I have a scanner now!

... and that means I'm able to:
a. scan my older photos
b. scan drawings which are not bigger than A4 size

That is very good, because I dont have to much time to draw now, mainly because my 2nd year in the music academy in Jerusalem have just started and I need to practice my piano and my ear-training...

so at least it allows me 2 upload some pics 4 a while...

  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: Well Tempered Clavier - Glenn Gould
  • Reading: Picture of dorian gray
  • Watching: Wagner's Tristan & Isolde
  • Playing: JS Bach's 2nd invention (on the piano)
  • Eating: Hot pumpkin soup
  • Drinking: Lilac wine...

New-old drawings

Sun Oct 22, 2006, 7:40 AM
I have started pulling out of my drawer my older works (1998-2005)
some of the works are intuitive sketches (mostly nudes done by references and self-portraits), others are more elaborate and carefully made (mostly portraits of my friends and family)... all of them are pencil drawings

I never really learnt how to draw in a conventional way with a private teacher or in a school... (accept for courses here and there during the last two years) so I might have been repeating the same 'mistakes' or patterns over and over again...

  • Listening to: well tempered clavier-glenn gould
  • Reading: picture of dorian gray
